Wellness Care at Wright Veterinary Medical Center
Wellness care looks different for different pets. While every wellness exam includes a physical examination of your pet from nose to tail, including your pet’s eyes, ears, mouth, and coat, we may also include other treatments or examinations depending on certain aspects of your pet’s health. We’ll ask you plenty of questions about your pet’s activity level, behavior, and habits so that we can get to know your pet on a deeper level. Everything we do during a physical wellness exam is structured to help us assess your pet’s current health status.
We tailor our approach to your pet’s health based on characteristics such as:
- Age
- Breed
- Diet
- Lifestyle
- Preexisting conditions
Every pet is unique. We take pride in ensuring that your pet receives the care they need based on their individual characteristics.
It’s helpful for our veterinary team to know if you have any concerns about your pet’s health. You know your pet best - if their behavior has been different recently, or if you’ve noticed they’re a little more sluggish than usual, we want to know. Together, we can get your pet back on the path to good health.
Preventative Care
At Wright Veterinary Medical Center, we take a preventative approach to your pet’s wellness care. By bringing your pet in to see us regularly, you are taking an important step in protecting your pet’s health and longevity. Regular wellness exams allows our Bethlehem and the Lehigh Valley veterinary team to keep an eye on your pet’s health, enabling us to catch health problems as they arise and before they develop into a major health issue.
Our Bethlehem veterinary team will take the time to walk you through every recommendation we make for your pet’s care. If you have any questions, we’re happy to answer them. Whether your pet is a brand-new puppy or kitten, or if they’re reaching their golden years, we have a care plan for them.
